One day my mom and I were having one of our rare serious talks and she told me something that has stuck with me for the past three years. She simply told me, "Be yourself and make the most of your high school years." I was feeling really down because of a guy. That's a real shocker right?! I mean sometimes things just happen. You probably didn't want that to happen and then you feel kind of down on yourself.
She just let me know that it wasn't necessary to have a boyfriend to feel liked/loved because that is what friends and family are for.
Anyway in my life I have used this advice daily for the past three years being my goofy self and loving every moment of it, even the mistakes. Mistakes help you become the person you are today.
No Drama + Lots of Laughter and Smiles = Total Happiness

9-11-2001 What I was feeling at the time....
Dear Diary,
Today in class my teacher showed me something on the T.V. that was pretty scary. There was an airplane that flew right into the twin towers in New York City. I only hear about this city so I don't really know much about it besides those really tall building are there and those buildings are a big part our nation.
At first when I heard about this I thought about my cousin who is in the army. I started to get a little sick to my stomach and kind of cried a little. During our little quiet time the teacher gave us to pray about the happenings or just think and give her a moment, I realized that my cousin wasn't in the states, so he wasn't gonna be harmed because of the building falling down or all the problems it was causing. After all this cousin is one of my most favorite cousins I have.
But what about the other people?! The people who were in the building...oh dear I can't believe someone would do that! What about a lot of the families losing loved ones? Was there more than just a pilot on that plan?! What are we gonna do about this? What on earth is going on?!
The people who worked in the tall building offices and the other people living in New York probably had no idea how much their lives would be changed and they had know idea that their lives would be changed forever.

What I did this weekend....
So where were you this weekend on Saturday?
I was in Absorkee at my grandparents', then I went to Billings to get a laptop. Then after I bought a laptop I went to work from 6pm to 10pm.
Why did you go to Absorkee?
I go there as often as I can to help them out with yard work and things like that.
Do you have anyone who can vague for you?
Yes, I have my mom, my little brother, my grandparents, and my coworkers.
What happened on Sunday?
I went to work at 5:30 am and didn't get of til' 10:15pm at the Pioneer Medical Center.
Do you have anyone to confirm this?
4 nurses and 4 other CNAs
Did you have any break time to leave the facility?
No. At the facility when you are on the direct care medical staff you aren't suppose to leave the facility grounds.
Where were you Monday?
Well Monday was a little more laid back but I still had to work a 4 hour shift in the dietary department.
So then what did you do besides that 4 hour shift?
I did some chores at home and then went to work. Then had some dinner and came home and did my homework.
Well sounds like the weekend was pretty eventful.
Indeed it was.

If I was an animal....
If I was an animal I would have to pick two different kinds, real and fantasy.
For the fantasy animal I would pick the animated chameleon from Tangled. He is vicious, lively, silly, and adorable! He can change colors when he wants to and for whatever reason he wants to.
My real animals are just simple and sound like it would be fun to be like them. First I would pick the flying squirrel for three reasons; They can glide, they are tiny and they like to be out at night. Then secondly I would choose a snow fox. They are cunning, like all foxes, they like to play in the snow, they blend in with the snow when needing to hide from predators, and they are very energetic.
The reason I picked multiple animals is because I picked animals who had similar characteristics that I liked or had that I would enjoy having as an animal. So if I thought about it longer and harder I may think of an animal that is almost like me but not exactly, because that would just be kind of freaky! These animals have a majority of the characteristics that I would like to have if I really could be an animal but getting to be a human has its perks.
