Shakespeare In The School!

Good Afternoon Ladies and Gentlemen!!!! I thought you guys would like to know... that the play done today by the Shakespeare in the Schools program went very well. Each of the actors performed great and interacted with audience. The whole play kept everyone on their toes while going through the play. Shakespeare's words may be confusing to most of us who don't read it all the time, but those actors today made it easier for people to understand what was going on.  Afterwards there was a few workshops and I, myself attended the Stage Combat workshop.  A couple of the actors led the workshop and showed us a few " punch" movies going step-by-step so we could try to stage fight with a partner and make it seem somewhat real. Well two groups performed their fights with some context, in front of the rest of the group and the actors gave them a few pointers and added audience to the scene. All in all it was a good day here in Sweet Grass High School. Tomorrow will probably not be as fun but hopefully a nice day at that. Have a great day and see you all tomorrow. :)

Why is love so complicated?

What am I?!

Beware!!!!!

Iago, a devil who does evil for his own delight.

Desdemona, a terrible fated woman because of this man.
Othello, duped by this man he thought to be his friend.

Iago is a man thirsty for power and uses people like Roderigo, who is just wanting to get the one he loves to come back to him.  All Iago is using Roderigo for is his money and a little pawn to keep his plan on track. 

Be careful this man is super tricky and thinks no one can find him out. But someone did figure out the whole thing..... His Wife, Emilia!!!!

She solved the puzzle out loud for the other soldiers and Othello to hear, even though it was too late to save dear Desdemona from ..... death.  When Emilia let them know exactly what had taken place and why, they figured the cause of it all was Iago because of the evidence she provided with Othello's confirmation against him.

This man caused death to three people and caused a guy to have a pretty badly injured leg for a long time, simply just trying to get to be a higher authoritative figure.

So you should watch out for those who are close to you or try to get closer to you because they could be like this man and they could cost you your life!!!
